Does Hallett Cove have meets all year round
Hallett Cove holds meets from October to End of March during daylight saving hours (Summer Season) However your membership allows you to take part in Cross Country events in the winter season
Do I have to stay with my Child

Yes, parents or a Guardian must remain on site at our meets & are expected to help on the night.


As a parent do i have to help
All parents are expected to help out at our meets There are many roles you can help with please speak to our committee members The more volunteers we have on a night the smoother the meet will run and more your child will enjoy little athletics
Can we try Little Athletics before we sign up
Yes - we offer Free Come and Try sessions . You can come and try on any Friday night once the season starts you just need to register on-line and Select the come and try option when you register
I have Pre-school Children can they take part

We run a Tiny Tots program for Under 4 & 5 year old which runs for about an hour on Friday night s

Do you accept Sports Vouchers

Yes - If you have not used 1 of your Sports Vouchers in this Calendar year you can use this towards your fees

Do you have a uniform

Yes, all our athletes are expected to wear our club shirts which can be purchased from our Canteen.

In addition, the current seasons Age group badge and athlete number need to be attached to the shirt.

Black shorts are also required for all State Events


Do you have a Canteen / BBQ on Friday nights

If we have parent Volunteers, we will run a BBQ and operate our Canteen 

How do I volunteer

Without volunteers we cannot run events Chaperones must accompany every age group and parents need to assist with Athlete control, measuring and recording 

We are always looking for help in setting up equipment, packing away and BBQ cooking / Serving

Speak to our committee members for more information or better still join our committee and help shape how our meets are run

What happens on Hot days

If the temperature indicated on BOM (Noarlunga) is 37 degrees or higher at 4pm on the day of our meet, we will cancel the meet watch Facebook for updates.

We may also make changes to your events on the night on hotter days.

Children should always bring water bottles and stay hydrated. Ultimately are meet nights are not compulsory so it is up to you if you attend or not
